The MnCU4Kids committee is continually looking for
new and exciting ways to increase the amount of
money raised each year for Gillette Children’s
Specialty Healthcare – if you have an idea for a
fundraiser or if you are wondering what other
credit unions are doing around Minnesota, please
contact us!

Donation Reporting
Form and submit it to us every time when
remitting funds.

CO-OP Financial Services Miracle Match Program
On behalf of Children’s Miracle Network, CO-OP
Financial Services has created a $1 million
matching funds program to encourage credit unions
to participate in local fundraisers. Credit unions
are eligible to receive one match per calendar
year. Credit unions with branches in multiple
markets are eligible for one match per market.
Funds raised for Children’s Miracle Network will
be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000. CO-OP
will match $10,000 for funds raised between
$10,000-$49,999. CO-OP will match 20% of total
funds raised of $50,000 plus.
Send in your grant application as far in
advance as possible to secure the grant. Even if you
don't have all of the details of your fundraiser
nailed down, you can provide the details as time
goes on.

2010
Miracle Match Grant Application Process

The first application
period for 2010 has closed. The second application period runs from
April 1 - June 30, 2010.

Both existing
fundraisers and campaigns (up to three months in length) and new
fundraisers qualify.

Please encourage your
credit union chapter to apply for a matching grant for one of their
Credit Unions for Kids fundraisers, such as a chapter golf tournament.

*There are new rules, which are posted on their website.
*There is a Miracle Match logo that must be included on event or
campaign literature, posters, etc. for approved matches. This will be
explained in the information sent out from COOP Financial Services,
acknowledging that your event has been approved for the match.
Please note the response to Grant Application Section II, question 6:
Please describe how the funds raised at this event will benefit your
local Children's Miracle Network hospital. RESPONSE: Funds raised help
to cover the cost of treatment for patients who do not have sufficient
insurance coverage, help to cover the cost of the Mobile Outreach
Clinics that bring Gillette's services to communities across the state
of Minnesota, and help provide updated medical technology and equipment.
