MnCU4Kids Bowl-O-Rama Raises $4,600

awesomeness.

Nearly 100 credit union professionals
and friends hit the alleyways on Oct. 28
to raise more than $4,600 for Gillette
Children’s Hospital.
The 2nd Annual Credit Unions for Kids
Bowl-O-Rama was held at Stars & Strikes
Entertainment Center in Wyoming, Minn.
The afternoon kicked off with a chicken
and rib buffet followed by 30
action-packed frames of bowling, the
last 10 of which were played under neon
black lights.
At the culmination of the competition,
attendees heard from Alex Schiefelbein,
a patient who has been helped by
Gillette. Alex’s mom, Sally, praised the
hospital and Minnesota’s credit unions
for their continued support of
Children’s Miracle Network.
Major corporate sponsors of the 2nd
Annual Bowl-O-Rama included MnIPC, CUNA
Mutual, CU Companies and Enterprise Car
Sales.
Mark your
calendar -- the 3rd Annual Bowl-O-Rama is
tentatively scheduled for October 27, 2010.
