BIG BUCK CONTEST
Each fall a group of Central Minnesota hunters
head into the woods with sights set on taking
home the big buck and credit union bragging
rights. Now, the Credit Unions for Kids Big Buck
Contest is going statewide! That means, if your
credit union has a few mighty hunters, it’s time
to throw your orange hats in the ring and help
us raise money for a great cause!
Contest runs through December 31, 2011. Contest
donations are also being accepted.
BIG BUCK CONTEST 2010
At right is a picture of three of the four participants in the 2010
Big Buck contest. This event raised $1300 for MnCU4Kids.
Steve Ahlness with Greater MN CU accepted the first place traveling
trophy with 50 points. Steve Oien of Minnco CU (left)placed 2nd with
39 points. Chuck Albrecht, representing Mid-Minnesota FCU (right)
took third place with 36 points. Not pictured is Diane Viehauser,
with Crow Wing Power CU, which placed 4th with 22 points. This was
Crow Wing CU's first year, so watch out for them next year!
