2012
Miracle Match Grant Application Process
We have great news!
-
Any credit union can
apply for the 2012 CO-OP Financial Services matching grant, even if your
credit union doesn’t use CO-OP’s services.
-
Previously a credit
union could apply for only one grant, but for 2012, a credit union can
apply for a signature event (an old event) and as many new fundraisers
as you want. Please note that applying does not guarantee grant
approval. CO-OP will make the final decision as to what fundraisers they
will match.
Credit unions can apply for 2012 fundraisers now.
You must apply for a grant before your fundraiser
takes place or by September 30, 2012, at the latest. Send your
application in even if you don’t know all the
details of your fundraiser. You can update CO-OP
once your details are set.
Go to
co-opfs.org/miracle-match and fill out the
application today!
Send in your grant application as far in
advance as possible to secure the grant.
Even if you
don't have all of the details of your fundraiser
nailed down, you can provide the details as time
goes on.
For more information visit the
CO-OP Financial Services' Miracle Maker website. You can also contact or call (800) 782-9042, x2558.
Important Note: Do
NOT use the donation reporting form
on the MiracleSoup website -- use our
Donation Reporting
Form instead and submit it to us every time
when remitting funds. (The MiracleSoup form is for
credit unions that do not have a regional
fundraising committee in place.) |
Northwoods Credit Union held a bake sale raising $743 and
doubled their effort by applying for and being approved to receive a CO-OP
Financial Services Match.
"It was a lot of fun and it’s an easy cause to get our employees,
members and community to rally behind!" Kate Mason, Marketing and Business
Development at Northwoods Credit Union.

*There are new rules, which are posted on their website.
*There is a Miracle Match logo that must be included on event or
campaign literature, posters, etc. for approved matches. This will be
explained in the information sent out from COOP Financial Services,
acknowledging that your event has been approved for the match.
Please note the response to Grant Application Section II, question 6:
Please describe how the funds raised at this event will benefit your
local Children's Miracle Network hospital. RESPONSE: Funds raised help
to cover the cost of treatment for patients who do not have sufficient
insurance coverage, help to cover the cost of the Mobile Outreach
Clinics that bring Gillette's services to communities across the state
of Minnesota, and help provide updated medical technology and equipment.
